Front Spindles, Steering
Knuckles, Caliper Brackets, and Dust Shields. Boy are they yucky. |
 |
This side too. |
 |
They do clean up nice. I
can do the same for you.

Parts to be installed on the right side. |
 |
Should be front suspension on this frame soon. |
 |
Come on, we have to get this spring compressed
in order for it to fit up into the frame. What is the problem it is
just a small spring. |
 |
Do you what to help. Stand on the frame so we
can get the spring compressed so I can start the bolt on the ball
joint. |
 |
whow, look at that. I have suspension on the
left side of the car. It might actually sit on four tires pretty
soon. |
 |
Ok, lets discuss the next step, lets take a
break. |
 |
Well the directions said to insert tab A into
slot B but it does not fit. |
 |
See I told you it was time for a break. |
 |
Right side suspension, upper and lower control
arms, spindle, steering knuckle, caliper bracket, rotor, caliper,
spring and shock all installed. I guess the directions were right,
you insert tab A into slot B. |
 |
Left side suspension, upper and lower control
arms, spindle, steering knuckle, caliper bracket, rotor, caliper,
spring and shock all installed. |
 |
Left side again. |
 |
Sure is pretty if I do say so myself. To bad
no one will ever see it. |
 |
Ugly master cylinder. |
 |
I purchased this master cylinder from Classic
Brake Rebuilders of Massachusetts. I have been talking with John. Their
e-mail address is
jsg11162@msn.com.
My
understanding is they are not a walk in shop and only deal through
e-mail. If you have a problem they will release a phone number to
you to talk you through the problem. Good People! They can get date
code specific / correct master Cylinders for your project. The only
thing I did to this one before installing it was clear coat it. |
 |
Brake lines were purchased through In Line
Tube, I really was not very happy with them. They seem to have the
attitude that they have "made it" and do not want to be deal with
the questions from a do it yourselfer. |
 |
I keep coming across really ugly parts and
having to clean them up (steering linkage). |
 |
Glass Beaded and painted (new tie rod ends
etc.) |
 |
Looks a little different and ready to go onto
the car. |
 |
On the car. |
 |
All the steering linkage, and the sway bar are
bolted up. A rough alignment was done with a tape measure. Will get
it done right before it goes down the road. |
