These parts have now been through the first
pass in the glass beader. A complete set of photos are taken at this
stage and sent to the customer. Imperceptions are detailed and a
discussion takes place as to how to proceed.

As you can see form this shot the spring
pocket had some damage from rust. This is a fairly common problem.
This customer elected to use that arm anyway. The option of
replacing the arm with the exact replacement was offered.
This arm had very little pitting.
The bushing retaining washer was damaged and
replaced at no cost.
The bushings had been spot welded in. This is
also a common practice.
Another shot of the bushings. Also note that I
missed a spot in the glass bead process. This is why I do it in two
steps to insure that I do not miss spots. The next step is to remove
all the components and return to the glass beader.
Again, this complete set of photos were
sent to the customer so that he is keep informed of the progress and
condition of the arms so that there are no surprises at the end.
