Had
another unofficial car nuts meeting today. |

We got the transbrake and air shift controls
wired in the steering wheel and in the chassis, tested their
function, one more item crossed of the list. |

The
incasing of the wiring harness continues, it certainly is cleaning
up the appearance of all those wires. |

Luke
turned out some precise spacers to go between the torque converter
and flex plate which places the tangs of the torque converter in
exactly the right position to engage the pump in the transmission. |

There
will be an official meeting of the car nuts tomorrow and hope to be
able to cross off an bunch of items on the list. One of those items
is to get the driveshaft installed and turn the wheels with the
engine!
We also
test ran the engine to check it the radiator will keep the engine
cool it does not. After 5 minutes of running at 1500 RPM the
temperature was at 210 and still rising. New developments on this
are coming, keep tuned. |
