Drop the right side
latter bar and finish routing the fuel line.
Continue to examine the seat location.
The big thing I would like
to get done is power wash the front frame rails.
I will need help in pushing the car in and out
of the garage to do that. I will be the brave
person to stand in the cold to do the washing.
(This did not get done as it was 10 degrees
outside)
We did remove the drivers side roll bar and
several other small projects.
All are welcome.

First task of the day
, Drop the right side latter bar
and finish routing the fuel line The line needs to run in back off
(in between the bar and the frame) over the top of the subframe
connector and along the outside edge of the car. |

Next task is to remove the drivers side roll
cage bar. It is not high enough got tech. inspection. Actually I
have been wanting to do this for a while to provide excess to the
inside of the car. I am not as young as I used to be and getting in
and out of the car to work on it with this bar in the way is a pain
in the ...... The bar will be put back in with pivot points and at
the right angle to make the tech inspectors happy. |

Turns out that the bar at this joint was not
welded in very well. The outside edge was not welded at all. The up
right bar cleaned up very nice with the grinding efforts of Vince. |

Tom removed the center console brackets, and
patched up the holes in the floor. |

Well, the shop is once again in a mess. That's
Ok, I find all kinds of stuff that has been missing for years this
way. |

We spent so time in the basement. Sprayed up
some engine sheet metal (oil pan, timing chain cover, an valley pan
with Pontiac Metallic blue and then laid several coats of clear over
the top of that.The valve covers are
Moroso. They originally had a gold anodized finish and then had been
painted black. I thought the gold would look notice next to the
aluminum intake (which has had a coat of clear powder coat applied)
and blue metallic on the block. I was unable to strip the paint so
we sandblasted them applied chrome powder coat, then gold powder
coat and then clear powder coat. We shall see if all thet work was
worth it. |

did not get rolled outside today to get the engine compartment
(front frame rails washed down. |
