Project for Week 2008 11 01
This weekends project (it might be
easiest to pull the whole front clip)
Get the car up on blocks (I
may have this done)
remove hood and hang on garage
wall
hinges
inner fender
wells,
front bumper,
radiator etc
until time is gone
|

|
This is how the car looked before I started
this weekend |

|
I enlisted the efforts of all the members of
Rochester Street Rods and Finger Lakes Classic Chevrolet clubs and
had one person show up. This is Lenny Ball helping out. I have had a
number of people approach me this week for this weekends project
(pull the engine and transmission.
All are welcome Saturday mornings 9 to what ever.

|
Hood and Radiator are gone. |
 |
Front clip is gone. I had my neighbor, Jim
Boehly, and Frank Serafine come over and help carry it to the back
yard. it is now up on blocks and covered for the winter. |
|
|

|
 |
The front clip will go on a diet also, the
inner fender wells will be removed, and all the structure for the
front bumper will be stripped out. The bumper cover will be left in
place so the car (when put back together) will look stock. This
thing must weigh 200 pounds |
 |
The hood is hung on the wall out of the way.
It will also go on a diet.
|
 |
This will be missing next weekend if all goes
well. Stay tuned.
