I love my job. If I was not married and had children I would drive
coast to coast. Driving petroleum transport is the next best thing
as I am home every night. With Hess I work Tuesday and Wednesday
nights 3:30 Pm to 2:30 AM and Friday and Saturdays 3:30 AM to 2:30
PM. I am off Saturday afternoon from 2:30 PM to Tuesday afternoon
3:30 PM
This is a long steel hill into Itica.
A view most people never get to see. By the way, that sticker you
see on the back of tractor trailers that says, "If you can not see
my mirrors, I can not see you" is true.
Having said all that. Hess laid me off 11/2005. They lost five
stations and the Fast Ferry and could not keep me busy. I am now
working for Hometown Energy doing the same thing. I love my driving!
