Well,
last weekend I did not put out an update, so, this
weekend you get two for the price of one. First last
weekend. We did actually bolt some stuff back onto the
Jeep. But then we removed a bunch of stuff so that we
can paint the engine. Who is the we, well if you look at
any of the other projects on this web site you will see
that during the Winter up here in the North it get
brutal outside so, there are a bunch of us that get
together in my nice warm garage an play with cars on
Saturday morning and talk about what we are going to due
once the weather warms back up. First up meet some of

We have a good time and there are
others that attend, You are welcome. Generally we meet
Saturday mornings from 9 to noon |
First
up are the parts we put back on. |
 |
Well, I could not leave this
looking like this, so into the sand blaster, and then a
little powder coat |
 |
 |
Stick
it back up into the Jeep with the refinished transfer
case. Foe more information on that click
here, |
 |

 |
Ok, put it all up and forgot to
put the little metal plate that goes under the
transmission mount in. Had to unbolt the skid plate and
lower it because the mount is an aftermarket piece and
of course does not line up with the holes in the plate.
Moved the skid plate back an 1/8 inch, unscrewed the
mount bolts, inserted the little plate and bolted
everything back up |
Now
for the few parts that were removed. I truly believe we
are getting close to the point where we will not be
removing any more parts. The intake will be sand blasted
and I have some powder coat samples on the way to color
match to AMC metical blue. |
